Vinny and Crystal DiNome are passionate about building a Spirit-led church where people can experience the presence of God, grow in truth, and find genuine community.
With over 20 years of ministry experience—serving as youth pastors, assistant pastors, and leaders—they have a heart to see lives transformed through a real encounter with Jesus Christ.
Angler Church exists to meet that need.
Located in North Central New Jersey, in one of the most diverse and influential regions in the country, our mission is simple:

•To lead people into a life-changing response to the Gospel
We are committed to the Apostolic message found in Acts 2:38—repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost.

The Anchor Moment
Vinny and Crystal DiNome are passionate about people, family, and the life-changing power of a real encounter with God.
Married for over 16 years, they are raising their two sons, Vincent and Dylan, with a deep love for faith, family, and the local church. Together, they have spent many years serving in ministry—as youth pastors, assistant pastors, and leaders—helping build strong, Spirit-led communities centered on truth, prayer, and authentic relationships.
Vinny has been in full-time ministry since 2004 and also works professionally in audio, video, and production, helping churches create environments where people can experience God in a meaningful way.
Crystal serves faithfully alongside him in ministry, bringing strength, compassion, and a deep love for people that helps shape the culture of every church they are part of. She is also a medical professional, working as an ultrasound technician. For the past five years, she has served at Queen City Pregnancy Resource Center, where she has cared for and encouraged women of all ages, offering support, guidance, and compassion as they navigate life decisions. Her heart for life, family, and faith is evident both inside and outside the church.
But the story of Angler Church didn’t begin with a plan—it began with a moment.
The Anchor Moment
On December 30, 2024, the DiNome family took what seemed like a simple day trip into the New York City area. It was a beautiful winter day, and for the first time, they boarded a ferry from New Jersey to cross the Hudson River.
As the boat pulled away from the dock, something unexpected happened.
Vinny became overwhelmed by the presence of God.
Without warning, tears began to fall—not from emotion alone, but from something deeper. It felt as though he had stepped into a moment saturated with the Spirit of God, like standing in the middle of a powerful service… except this time, it was on the water, with the skyline of Manhattan in front of him.
The day continued—walking through the city, visiting familiar places, enjoying time as a family—but that moment lingered.
Later that night, under the Brooklyn Bridge, it happened again.
The same overwhelming presence.
The same deep burden.
The same unmistakable sense that God was speaking.
And in that moment, a question formed in his heart:
“Is this what Jesus felt when He looked over Jerusalem and wept?
A Calling Reawakened
On the ferry ride back, with Manhattan on one side and New Jersey on the other, something became clear.
This wasn’t just a meaningful day. This was a calling.
For years, Vinny had carried a burden and a love for this region—prayers that had been sown over decades. In different seasons, it seemed like God had led their family in other directions. But now, those same prayers, that same burden came rushing back with clarity and purpose.
As they drove through North Central New Jersey that night, passing city after city, town after town, there was a growing realization: God was calling them back.
The Vision of Angler Church
Today, Vinny and Crystal, along with their family, are stepping forward in faith to plant Angler Church in North Central New Jersey.
This region—bordered by the Hudson River and connected to one of the most influential metropolitan areas in the world—is filled with people from every background, culture, and nation. It is a place of incredible opportunity—and deep spiritual need.
Angler Church exists to meet that need. To create a place where people can:

•discover truth through His Word
•experience real community
•and respond to the life-changing message of Acts 2:38
