The Word

Prayer

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for truth, guiding everything we believe, teach, and live.

People

We are passionate about people. Every person matters to God, and they matter to us. Our desire is to love, serve, and reflect the heart of Jesus in everything we do.

Unity

We believe in unity with purpose. We are not called to be identical, but to work together—each person fulfilling their God-given role to accomplish the mission of the Church.

Our Story

We believe prayer is essential to a real relationship with Jesus. It is more than a moment—it is a lifestyle of communicating with God, both speaking and listening.

Generosity

God has been incredibly generous toward us through the Gospel. We live with open hands, giving of our time, resources, and lives so others can experience that same grace.

We pursue excellence because God deserves our best. In everything we do, we strive to grow, improve, and honor Him with intentionality and passion.

Angler Church was born from a clear moment of calling.

On a ferry ride from New Jersey to Manhattan, God began to shape a vision—not just for a church, but for a place where people could truly experience Him. In that space between two shores, it became clear: God was calling us to be a voice of hope in this region.

With a foundation in Apostolic truth and a burden for people, that vision has grown into what is now Angler Church / HOPE of New Jersey.

From the beginning, the mission has remained the same—to reach people, disciple believers, and build a church where lives are transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.
