December 2025 "UPDATE"
Greetings in Jesus!
I pray this message finds you walking in the strength and joy of the Lord. We're writing to share a few exciting praise reports and prayer points as we draw closer to the official launch of Angler Church - North Jersey.
Praise Reports
- Home Church Blessing: At the end of November, Abundant Life Church (Pastor Brent Watts) allowed us to test our PIM service and share the Angler Church vision. The response was warm and supportive. Pastor Watts felt led to designate half of this year's Christmas for Christ offering to Angler Church. We're so thankful for a loving and supportive church family.
- First Official PIM Service: On Sunday, December 7, we had our first official Partners In Missions service outside our home church at Bethel United Pentecostal Church, Old Westbury. Even during their busy season, they graciously received us. The response was God-ordained, and they generously gave a seed offering and pledged monthly support. We are so thankful for Pastor Jonathan Walker and Bishop Doug Davis Jr.
- Trip to North Jersey: Earlier this month we visited two possible homes and two church meeting locations. While the homes may not be available by our move in June, one in particular seemed like a great fit-if it's God's will, He'll make a way. Panera Bread in Paramus gave us the green light to use their community room for Bible study gatherings-no restrictions, no fees. We also had a divine meeting with a local community center director (a believer) who offered us a room that seats 50 at no cost. We prayed together, and he was visibly moved. We're grateful for these doors God is opening!

We are thankful for the doors the Lord is already opening for us to share the vision of Angler Church. Below are the dates and locations where we will be ministering, connecting with pastors, and presenting the vision of this church plant:

We are prayerfully seeking open doors to share the vision between April and June 2026. If your church-or a pastor you know-would resonate with the vision of Angler Church, we would be honored to connect. Every open door is an answer to prayer and a vital part of this journey.
Things to Continue Praying About
- Open Sundays: From April to June we still have several Sundays open. Pray the Lord connects us with the right churches and leaders.
- Our Health During Travel: I recently came down with the flu. Pray for protection and strength for Crystal, the boys, and me during the busy travel months.
- Favor at Interest Gatherings: Our first interest gathering is February 27-28 at Panera Bread in Paramus. We're praying for local connections, hearts to be stirred, and new Bible study relationships to form.
- June Transition: We plan to move to New Jersey after school ends in late May. Pray for the housing situation, packing, and emotional strength as we make this big move.
